How the race start works

The lights build one by one, then switch off without warning. Your job is to react the instant the lights go dark. Each run records your time in seconds, updates your personal best, and tracks your total attempts.

Precision

Timing uses high-resolution performance clocks for accurate reaction measurements.

Randomized

The lights-out delay changes every round to prevent guessing.

Local

Your best time and counts stay in your browser for quick practice sessions.

FAQ

When should I click or press Space?
Wait until all five lights turn off at once, then react as fast as you can. Clicking early counts as a false start.
Does the test work on mobile?
Yes. Tap anywhere inside the arena on phones or tablets, or use a keyboard on desktop.
How is my personal best stored?
Your best time and counters are saved locally in your browser so you can keep practicing without signing in.
